An Out person is someone who has experienced Coming Out about their BDSM practices and is generally open with others about their involvement in such practices.

To Out or Outing someone indicates the action of someone forcing another to Come Out and is a very poor practice that can quickly result in being black listed in a community.

Best Practices

Be sure to understand the risks of coming out before doing so. Also, a person that has not come out may have very good reason not to. Respect their confidentiality and never out someone else intentionally nor accidentally through negligence of speech.
