Wiki FAQ

Can I join the wiki and become an editor?

Absolutely, it's free and we welcome self starting contributors with integrity and knowledge. We also provide talk pages for each article and a discussion forum to discuss various and contrasting opinions about articles.

We recommend that to start you work on making simple edits and suggest your first few articles to the staff for review so you don't have them torn down as duplicates or poorly written drafts (even though you may have worked hard on them).

Is it OK to make an article about a specific, real world person?

In most cases the answer is no for the purposes of respecting the privacy of the individual and maintaining the integrity of the information presented, however an exception is made for persons with nationally and internationally released professional publications (usually an Amazon link to their book is sufficient, as well as an excerpt of their published biography) and is limited to the scope of their professional publications as well as strictly factual items sourced from vetted news articles of integrity, as well as a link to their personal website and books.

For an example, see the page on Jay Wiseman.

Private, personal information about an individual (such as real name [unless that is the name they use for their publications], address, phone number, SSN, etc.) is never to be posted on this wiki, nor accusations of alleged illegal actions.

For the professional services directory anyone may list their assumed name and a link to their professional website (which is sorted by location) as long as it is relevant to the industry listed and fits into one of the existing categories.
