Maybe not Jay Wiseman, but there are others that are not on wikipedia that have asked to have their pages here as writers.  If nothing else we can direct pages to better sources when we get there, that was just the first name I came up with and I needed a name to put there.--Admin (talk) 15:55, 10 March 2014 (UTC)

I have removed the thing about letting others make pages about people, it is my policy as admin to state we may not out people in the community that have not already done so professionally as that can cause harm, further, rape allegations are not OK as that constitutes slander.  You can include a police blotter listing someone as a sex offender as that is public knowledge, but you may not make allegations, this is a printed publication for public use and that makes such allegations slander and libel by US law, so no, you cannot do that at all.  --Admin (talk) 01:48, 12 March 2014 (UTC)

Pages on specific individuals

Do we really need a page for Jay Wiseman when there is already a fine article at Wikipedia? [1] Please consider directing people to better external sources unless there is internal information we can add here, such as related to his reputation in the scene and associated controversies. -- Wulfrath 07:55, 10 March 2014 (UTC)

I have removed the thing about letting others make pages about people, it is my policy as admin to state we may not out people in the community that have not already done so professionally as that can cause harm, further, rape allegations are not OK as that constitutes slander. You can include a police blotter listing someone as a sex offender as that is public knowledge, but you may not make allegations, this is a printed publication for public use and that makes such allegations slander and libel by US law, so no, you cannot do that at all, and even if it wasn't illegal, it is not the place of this wiki to be a sex offender database, nor a breeding ground for rumor mongering and slander. --Admin (talk) 01:48, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
